Sleep: Mechanisms, Functions, and Disorders

The LabEx CerCoG Brain & Cognition) atUniversité Grenoble Alpes pleased to invite you to its fall scientific seminar, which will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at MSH-Alpes (Saint-Martin-d'Hères).

Sleep is a fundamental biological process that is essential to proper brain function and our health. This morning’s session will provide an opportunity to learn about recent advances in research on the mechanisms of sleep, its links to cognitive functions, and its role in neurological disorders.

We are pleased to welcome three experts in the field:
