Experimental facilities committee

In addition to its scientific program, CerCoG@UGA (Université Grenoble Alpes) also drives a second program called “Tools and Methods” aiming at fostering, coordinating, and enhancing the UGA facilities for experimentation and data analysis in the domain of brain and cognition.

We selected five UGA platforms and services, that appeared highly complementary and likely to provide a substantial basis for all aspects of CerCoG objectives.

PICGIN

Proposes an ensemble of microscopy techniques (confocal, high-resolution imaging, slide scanner, light-sheet, etc.) for neural studies at a cellular and molecular level.

IRMaGe

Shares resources and services dedicated to neuroimaging experimentation in the field of neurocognition by offering access to MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging), EEG (electroencephalogram), TMS (Transcranial magnetic stimulation), and NIRS (Near-infrared spectroscopy) equipment, together with services and resources to perform NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) Metabolomics experiments for fundamental neuroscience.

Clinatec CEA

Brings together all the actors involved in innovation in micronanosystems for health, from clinicians and biologists to technologists, to foster the development and validation of new therapeutic solutions.

MSH-SCREEN

Offers resources and services for studying human behavior in various experimental settings, from individual cognition to interactive scenarios.

GRICAD

Proposes a set of facilities and services for data management, efficient computing and programming tools for all kinds of scientific purposes inside UGA.
